Anna Zekria

Founder and director of the independent Russian photo agency SALT IMAGES since 2011. Former director and project manager at Agency.Photographer.Ru and the Obyektivnaya Realnost fund, as well as producer of Screen Projects (US). Curator of Shilt Publishing & Gallery (Netherlands) and a number of Russian and foreign exhibition projects. Jury member at the 2012 World Press Photo contest and a number of other international photo contests.

Mladen Antonov

Mladen Antonov

Agence France-Presse’s (AFP) special correspondent in Moscow. Until 2003, Antonov worked at the European Pressphoto Agency (EPA) as a war correspondent in Yugoslavia, and then became a chief photographer in Russia and the Balkans. At AFP, he became the leading photographer for Eastern Europe and the CIS in 2003, and the chief photo editor in the European bureau in Paris in 2006. Since 2011, he has been the chief photo editor in North America (Washington).

Author of numerous reports on social, political and sports subjects. Participated in filming many sports events, including the Olympics, FIFA World Cups, rallies and others. Winner of the 2017 National Award in Journalism for the Most Accurate Photograph.

Head of the photo department at Kommersant since 2013. Has 25 years of experience working in social and political journalism. Photojournalist for the Moskovskiye Novosti newspaper, Der Spiegel magazine (Germany) and Xinhua News Agency (China). He has covered many significant events in the history of Russia and the world in general. Winner of many Russian and foreign awards, organizer and participant of many photo exhibitions and book projects. Author of the training course on photography written for the School of Television at Lomonosov Moscow State University.

Ahmet Sel

Turkish photographer. Visual News Editor in Chief for Anadolu Agency. In 2005-2006 he has been the chief editor for Sipa Press in Paris. Between 1990 and 2000, he lived in Moscow where he was a bureau chief for Sipa Press. Covered conflicts in Lebanon, Nagorno-Karabakh, Chechnya, and Afghanistan. Taught multimedia journalism at Bilgi and Bahcesehir Universities (Istanbul). Jury member of Istanbul Photo Awards.

Wang Yao

Honorary President of the China Photographers Association and President of the Chinese Women Photographers Association. Former Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Xinhua News Agency and of the China News Service. Worked as a visiting scholar at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Received first prize at the World Press Photo Contest, the China News Award, and others. Awarded honorary titles of the National Outstanding Artist and the Top 10 National Photographer. Her photo works can be found in museums and individual collections.

Ivan Sekretaryov

Head of the English Language News Photography Department at Rossiya Segodnya. Former photographer at the Moscow Bureau of the Associated Press (AP) news agency. During his 20 years at the agency, Ivan has covered important events in both Russia and abroad, including those in military conflict zones. He has covered major sporting events, including the Winter and Summer Olympic Games, world and European championships in football, figure skating, track and field and many other sports. Winner of several international photo competitions.
